David Garner

David joined the RWS team in August 2021 as the Facilities Coordinator. He has a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice as well as an associate’s degree in Avionics. Building on those
degrees, he served in the Air Force, Air Force Reserves, and the police force.

He has worked in construction, building inspections, and renovations over the last 35 years, and his positions have included commercial mechanical contractor and running a business installing HVAC control systems. He is currently a licensed contractor and has extensive knowledge of building maintenance, codes, and safety, including experience with commercial building systems, equipment and devices. David has worked in a variety of residential and commercial settings, overseeing building activities, making sure that health and safety standards are met, and arranging for repairs when needed. His experience in identifying needs for repairs and renovations has led to broad experience in interfacing with external vendors.

David is well organized, efficient, and able to prioritize multiple issues simultaneously. His goal is to maintain a safe environment for our students and to help our faculty, staff, and families get the most out of our facilities at RWS.

When he is not working, David’s favorite pastimes include riding horses and restoring cars.
