From France comes the story of St. Martin of Tours, a Roman soldier who exhibited great generosity. Upon meeting a beggar on the road, St. Martin cut his cloak in two to share with the unfortunate man, facing the ridicule of his fellow soldiers. To emulate St. Martin’s generosity, our community collects gently used winter coats for Richmond families in need through Puritan Cleaners’ Coats for Kids drive.
Please drop your coats in the designated drop bins at both the EC and Grades drop off locations the mornings of Thursday, November 10 through Friday, November 11.
