Parent/Toddler Program

Sprouts—for children 18 months old to 3 years old

Sprouts has two 10-week sessions in Fall and Winter. Our next session will begin in January 2020. Each class has limited availability, and we are currently accepting registration.

Sprouts class is designed for parents/caregivers and their little ones to have a first time experience in a school setting. Here you and your child will experience our Waldorf Early Childhood Program first hand, as the Sprouts morning is a modified version of a typical day in our Kindergarten. You will also be able to meet other young families and spend some time discussing topics in child growth and development, learn how Waldorf educators nurture young children and at the same time get to have a front row seat watching the children play. Parents will also participate in making something special for your child to take home at the end of our class. Participants in our program are warmly invited to attend school-wide festivals and celebrations as well as parent-education evenings and Open Houses. We encourage you to be a part of our thriving and supportive school community.

Over the course of ten weeks, these once-per-week morning sessions include:
  • Creative indoor and outdoor play
  • Preparation of a nutritious snack
  • Circle time and nursery rhymes
  • Storytelling and puppet shows
