Each year, our 8th graders embark on a culminating class trip —the ultimate test of the community they have built over their eight years together. Out in the real world, away from the comforts of home, they were asked to navigate unfamiliar challenges together, prepare meals for one another, and work as a team, relying on each other through every triumph and mishap of the week.

This year our graduating class traveled to New York City, spending a week learning to navigate the rhythms of one of the biggest cities in the world. From quiet moments in world-class museums to the energy of Broadway, so much of their middle school curriculum was vividly brought to life.

Each year, this important trip proves to our graduating students that they are strong, capable, independent, and ready for whatever the wider world holds next for them.
