Strategic Path Update – March 2026

Dear Richmond Waldorf School Community,

Recently, I shared an update with community members at the beginning of the Parents Association meeting. It was a “State of the School” style sharing with questions and answers that followed. It was great to hear the thoughts from our community as we continue on the journey of our long-range plans – The 2030 Strategic Path.

Several topics were covered during the “State of the School” gathering, including:

  • Summer 2026 playscape project
  • School-wide renovation concepts
  • School finances and priorities
  • 2030 Strategic Path progress and updates

The handout linked below captures updates for these topics, all of which directly connect to our long-range plans.

Progress continues as Path Navigators (e.g. Board of Trustees, College, Leadership Team, Parents Association) lead select Pathways that connect most directly with their respective responsibilities within RWS. Ongoing progress will require support from many of us as we continue to take ownership of this impactful and meaningful plan through these next few years.

As we reach a new stride in this journey, let’s continue to dream together in collective support for this beautiful community.

Together We Serve,

Andrew Ross,
Executive Director
