Emily Whetzel

A native of New York, Emily has lived in many states and has worked in many preschools over the years. Emily received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Child Development while living in Texas and moved to Virginia in 2016 with her husband and son. Emily fell in love with RWS when her son started as a green star in Oak Class. Emily began working at RWS as a substitute teacher and became the assistant for Dogwood Class in January 2020.

When not enjoying her time at school, Emily enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, Jeremy, cuddling with her cat, Pumpkin, and playing with her son, Simon. Emily also drinks an enormous amount of coffee.
