Maria Seitz
3rd Grade
Maria is excited to join RWS as a class teacher starting in the 26-27 school year! She has started her Waldorf training with the Center for Anthroposophy and is looking forward to bringing her skills to the classroom. Maria received a B.S. in Environmental Studies and English from the University of Richmond. Her coursework there inspired her to pursue her M.S in Environmental Education from Antioch University of New England. Upon graduating in 2022, Maria has used her passion for teaching and her deep love of nature to help children find the magic in the natural world.
After working in both informal and formal classrooms, she went looking for a happy medium between the two and stumbled upon RWS. On her first visit to the campus, Maria immediately felt at home and knew she had found what she was looking for.
Outside of teaching, she enjoys baking, hiking, crafting, kickball, and all things whimsical!
