Kathleen Austin
Interim Director of Enrollment
Kathleen brings over a decade of experience in Waldorf education—teaching primary school, educating parents, and mentoring teachers locally as well as nationwide with the Alliance for Public Waldorf Education. Her credentials as an educator include a master’s degree in the Foundations of Education from Antioch University, a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from Cal State, a bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Westminster Choir College, and a yoga teacher certification from Ananda Ashram. In California, Kathleen was the choir director at SunRidge School and a class teacher at Sebastopol Independent Charter School. After returning to her hometown of RVA, Kathleen is delighted to connect with the Richmond Waldorf Community.
