Rachel Davis Richmond Waldorf School

Rachel joined RWS in January of 2020. Though born and raised in Richmond, and a 2008 James Madison University graduate, Rachel has spent the past decade living and working in both New York City and Philadelphia. After several years working in corporate marketing and event planning, Rachel returned to school to follow her passion for education, and received a Master of Education from Hunter College. Since 2013, she has taught grades Kindergarten through 3rd grade in the NY and PA public school systems.

Upon making the happy return to Richmond with her family, Rachel began exploring philosophies of education that felt right for her two young children. Soon after, she discovered Richmond Waldorf School, and has since found a home here both professionally and as a proud parent to Waldorf  students! After three years of working in an administrative role at RWS, handling development and community engagement projects, Rachel was thrilled to join the RWS Faculty in Fall 2023 as a class teacher.
