María José Mejía Ruiz

Born and raised in Quito, Ecuador, Maria Jose moved to the US in 2013 and has enjoyed living in the Richmond area since 2016. Maria Jose holds a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and a master’s degree in Public Health Nutrition. She is passionate about helping all enjoy life to the fullest and reaching their greatest potential.

 

Maria Jose joined RWS in 2023 as the Spanish Teacher for grades 1-8, and is so excited to work with children and youth of all ages. Maria Jose loves her family, the outdoors, music, and all things food.
